The country is on its way out of lockdown, and a few families have asked what that means for our Children’s Centres.
Our priority is to make sure that our staff and the families who use our services are safe. Our Children’s Centres are following the Government’s ‘Hands, Face, Space, Fresh Air’ guidance on working safely to ensure they are COVID-secure.
That means we can’t operate in the same way, or welcome large groups of people back into our buildings yet.
At the start of the pandemic we decided to move the majority of our activities to take place online. We’re pleased to say that these activities, like story and rhyme time sessions and postnatal courses, are still running. We are running some activities in person.
While we follow Government guidance to keep our communities safe, these are very small support groups for families who don’t have access to technology and so can’t access our online sessions.
We can’t wait to open our doors to you all again, so please be reassured that we’re constantly monitoring and reviewing the guidance from the Government. We appreciate your patience.
